11/08/08: The group's last show will be December 19 at The Moon Bar with Stoogeaphilia.

10/29/08: It's heeerrreee... Go buy Debut No. 3 now!

Make sure to come out this Saturday to The Moon Bar. Be there, please?

10/23/08: The first review for the new album can be found at I Love Fort Worth, penned by Ken Shimamoto. Go check it out... Now!

10/04/08: New and new. As you can tell, we revamped the site a bit. We also have a new show on October 18 at 7th Haven. No cover, but any donations made go to the Fort Worth Burrito Project. Show begins at 1:00pm. Please try to make it out.

09/11/08: We're back at The Moon Bar with Stoogeaphilia and The Transistor Tramps on November 1.

08/17/08: Pics from the Fairmount show have been posted in our "Pics" section. Thanks to Kat Shimamoto for the photos.

In other news, the show at Bar of Soap on September 13 has been canceled due to a schedule conflict.

08/11/08: Posted an article written on Pegasus News a few weeks ago.

08/05/08: We just got word that we'll be playing this Thursday at Lola's Saloon with White Walls.

07/19/08: Okay... so the show wasn't live streamed last night. Again. We apologize for the misinformation.

You can catch us again at Bar of Soap September 13 with Stoogeaphilia, One Fingered Fist, and Awesome Can Wait.

07/16/08: We will not be playing at The Moon Bar due to a booking error on their end.

06/26/08: You can catch us August 14 at The Fairmount with Stoogeaphilia and One Fingered Fist.

06/09/08: We had a blast this past Saturday at Bar of Soap with One Fingered Fist and Awesome Can Wait. We hoped that the show would have been streamed live, but the woman who handles their broadcast was sick, so it was a no-go. Thanks to everyone who made it out and braved the roadworks!

06/04/08: A new show (courtesy of Ken Shimamoto) on July 26 at The Moon Bar with Stoogeaphilia and Goodwin.

Be sure to come out this Saturday to Bar of Soap. We're playing with One Fingered Fist and Awesome Can Wait (featuring RGB alumni Ricky Chewning). Show starts at 10:00pm.

04/06/08: Added a link to a blog Billboard's senior editor, Chuck Eddy, posted about us several weeks ago on Rhapsody, which can be found in our "Press" section.

03/07/08: Changed the front page a tad and added links to other sites on the web where you can find us. Also post several new shows. Hooray!

02/18/08: After a couple of changes to the bill for last Saturday's show (Proud Warrior and The Grey Company pulled out), Nasty'stache and One Fingered Fist put on helluva show. Thanks to John, owner of Oddballs, for letting us play, and thanks to everyone who came out to watch the show. Screw Grayson County rednecks!

01/21/08: We appreciate everyone who came to Bar of Soap last Saturday. Our set from the show can be viewed on our MySpace page.

One Fingered Fist and Proud Warrior will be playing with us at Oddballs on February 16. Be there!

01/14/08: We have two shows coming up. The first one will be at Bar of Soap this Saturday with The Backsliders, Dragna, The Me-Thinks, and many, many others. The event starts at 3:30pm and the cover is $5. The second show we have will be at Oddballs on February 16 with One Fingered Fist. More details to come...

2007

12/03/07: Check out the pics taken by Kat Shimamoto from last Friday's show at her page, which is also posted in our "Pics" section.

Chomping at the bit to have another chance of playing with Stoogeaphilia and One Fingered Fist...

10/22/07: We really appreciate everyone who braved the State Fair crowd and came out to Bar of Soap this past Saturday. Proud Warrior and Chris and Jeff from 1,000 Miles From Home were fantastic, and we hope to have a chance to play with them again. You can check out video of our set from the show on our MySpace site.

10/15/07: We will be playing with Proud Warrior and Chris and Jeff from 1,000 Miles From Home at Bar of Soap this Saturday.

09/17/07: We had a good ol' time at Darkside Lounge this past Saturday, and hope we get a chance to play with Blarney Street Hooligans and Cock Rock For Cannibals again. We also appreciate everyone who made it out. Yay!

09/06/07: Another show for us. We'll be playing with Stoogeaphilia and One Fingered Fist.

08/29/07: Our MySpace page is back up and running. We had to create a new profile, so it's onwards with the tedious task of trying to get all of our friends back again. Thanks, Tom, you tit.

08/27/07: As posted on the front page, the MySpace site has been remove without our permission. Unfortunately, this does affect the band as MySpace has become the main method of contacting our fans. We're trying to find out from the powers at MySpace what the hell went wrong...

08/24/07: Caroline Collier reviewed Search For Numb in this week's Fort Worth Weekly, so check it out...

We have another show date lined up. On October 20, we'll be at Bar of Soap. That's it for now.

08/09/07: We really appreciate everyone who came out and showed their support last Saturday. We were so glad we were able to get the chance to play with Dragna and the Von Ehrics. They were super cool and we hope we get to play with them again. Also, a big thanks to Tom for having us back on "The Good Show" Sunday night. It's always a blast hanging with him and the rest of the "Good" crew.

08/01/07: Changed the front page a tad.

We also have another show coming up at Darkside Lounge on September 15, benefiting the North Texas Pit Bull Rescue. Mark your calendars!

07/23/07: Long time, no update, so here's two events coming up in a couple of weeks... First, we'll be opening for the Von Ehrics at the Wreck Room on August 4th. Second, on August 5th, we'll be back on "The Good Show" to talk with Tom and spin tunes from the new album. Make room on your calender for a TFA weekend in August!

06/11/07: As you may have seen on our front page, Billboard magazine's senior editor, Chuck Eddy, wrote a review of our cd on his blog, which for convenience we posted on our blog. A blog of a blog...

06/07/07: As of last night, Jeff is no longer a member of TFA. It was a mutual agreement and we wish him the best of luck. Whether we find another singer or end up a trio remains unknown at this time.

06/02/07: Alright! Got the cds back on Friday. Now time to get rid of them...

05/25/07: The cds were finally sent back to the manufacturer this morning to have the labels corrected. In the meantime, you can purchase a copy of this rare "Follow Americans" cd from CDBaby.com . Hurry while supplies last! :-)

05/22/07: Well, it's kinda old news now, but nevertheless we had a review of our cd done by Ken Shimamoto which can be found on I Love Fort Worth.

There will be a delay with the release of our cd due to a manufacturer error (having our name misspelled on the top spine label could potentially be a tad confusing). Hopefully we'll get the cds back in a week or so. Keep your fingers crossed!

05/18/07: We've just received the cds from the manufacturer today, so hopefully in the next few days they'll be available for purchase online. We'll keep ya posted!

05/09/07: A belated thanks for everyone who came out Cinco de Mayo! The Me-Thinks were great, as usual, and we enjoyed having the chance to play with Panther City Bandits.

04/28/07: The cd has been sent off to the manufacturer and will hopefully be ready for public consumption in the next couple of weeks :-)

04/12/07: The album (screw it! Who cares if it's technically a cd?!?) is getting ever so closer to being finished. We're shooting for a release at the beginning of May. Keep your fingers crossed!

03/19/07: We had a good ol' time on St. Paddy's Day at The Moon Bar! It was great getting to play with The Iliads, Eaton Lake Tonics, and The Red Herrings.

We're getting closer with finishing our full-length cd. Basically, vocals and mastering are left, then BAM!, it's done. :-)

03/01/07: The show at Rubber Gloves has been canceled and we're trying to reschedule for sometime in May.

02/28/07: You can check out one of the songs from our upcoming cd (yay... I'm "with it"!) on our MySpace site. Bon apetite!

02/20/07: We had a pretty good turnout last Friday and appreciate everyone who came to the show! Dead Twins and Chemistry Set were great blokes and we thank them for their hospitality. :-)

We're still working on our album (dammit, I mean cd!) and it's question marks as when it will be finished. We're working on it, day by day, and are having fun with the process. More to come...

02/12/07: You can catch us this Friday at the Wreck Room with Dead Twins and Chemistry Set. Also, coming up on St. Patrick's Day we'll be at The Moon Bar with Eaton Lake Tonics and The Red Herrings.

01/31/07: We've been working on our album (okay, our full-length cd. There. Happy?) for the past couple of weeks and we're making no promises when it will be done. Yay! :-)

We're playing at Rubber Gloves on March 31, so mark your calendars!

01/20/07: Ah, hell! We don't have a show at Black Dog. As of now, the club is no more. Hopefully we'll get another show booked soon...

01/10/07: Alright! We've got a show with The Backsliders and RTB2 on February 10 at Black Dog.

01/08/07: Happy Belated New Year! :-) Check out this week's Fort Worth Weekly. We actually made it on somebody's "good" list! :-)

2006

12/20/06: Thanks to everyone who came this past Friday and stayed with us through the wee hours of the morning. :-) The show began a tad late and we didn't go on until about 1:20 in the a-m. We had fun, though, and again thank Tom and the rest of the gang on "The Good Show" for getting us on the bill.

Our plans over the holiday? We'll attempt to get some shows booked for January and February, and hopefully get some recording done for possibly a full length album. That's all for now, folks!

12/15/06: Sorry for the late update, but we'll be playing with Tame... Tame and Quiet, Reggie Roofer and George Esquivel, and RTB2 tonight. Hope to see you there tonight!

12/06/06: Talk about irony! As you may have noticed on our front page, we'll be playing at the Black Dog as part of "The Good Show Showcase". We give Tom our highest praise for getting us on the bill! :-)

11/28/06: Well, thanks to their efficient management style and integrity (sarcasm definitely intended), the Black Dog bumped us from our show on December 9. This was a gig we established with their booking agent back in September. As his story goes, the bartender booked some other bands for the December 9 date and nobody told him. Smells like bullshit to me... We're now on the hunt for a show at another venue on the ninth. We'll keep you posted on our progress.

11/12/06: Well, we finally(!) got to play with The Me-Thinks and it was good! :-) Legends Of The South were also awesome, and we felt damn lucky to have been on a bill with two killer bands. Hoorah!

11/08/06: We hope everyone will be able to come out this Saturday to the Wreck Room. With The Me-Thinks and Legends Of The South, it should be one helluva show...

Just added a link to a little blurb about the new ep written in the October 18th issue of the Fort Worth Weekly. Obviously you can click on the link here or in our "Press" section.

10/29/06: We had a blast Saturday and a big thanks to all who came out! :-)Fred's was a great place to play and hopefully we'll be back... in the future! (cue 50s sci-fi music)

10/23/06: We hope everyone who came out to the Wreck Room this past Saturday had a great time! The Backsliders and For Those Who Know were fantastic, both on- and offstage.

Fredtoberfest continues next Saturday at (of course) Fred's. The festivities begin at 3:00pm. Beer, food, and music. What more could you ask for? (I know. I set myself up for that...)

10/13/06: Ooooooh! It's Friday the 13th. Sooooo spooky! :-)

Tracks from the 4 Songs Ep can be downloaded at iTunes. Next week, who knows? Maybe you can get a copy of our CD free with the purchase of a new VW Rabbit... :-)

10/12/06: Finally! Four Songs is now available for purchase through CDBaby. Buy a copy, dammit! ;-)

We're playing with The Backsliders and For Those Who Know at the Wreck Room next Saturday. Hope to see you there...

09/25/06: It's here! The new cd has been released today. In a few days it will be made available for purchase at CD Baby for your convenience. Until then, feel free to email us at info@thefellowamericans.com and get a copy direct from the band!

09/19/06: Yes, it's true! We're releasing our new ep on Monday, September 25. Reserve your copy today! :-)

09/01/06: We have a couple of new show dates and... that's about it for now! :-)

08/28/06: Go to our "Media" section and download our newest track, "Breeding Doubt". You'll also be able to listen to the track on MySpace shortly.

08/21/06: We have been working on a new album for the past two weeks. Four songs done, four to five more to go. And what of the album we started in April, you ask? Indefinitely shelved. You can check out a few songs from that particular project on our MySpace site.

07/20/06: Say goodbye to shipping charges! Free shipping for items purchased in our "Merchandise" section.

07/14/06: Made some subtle changes to the website ;-)

07/11/06: The Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards ceremony was not held at Bass Hall (as promoted) but across the street at the Maddox-Muse Center. We apologize to anyone who had trouble locating the event.

07/07/06: It's short notice, but we'll be performing one song at the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards ceremony this Sunday at Bass Hall. The event begins at 7:00pm.

06/29/06: Hope everyone had a great time at the Flying Saucer on Sunday. We were lucky enough to share the bill with John Price and Darth Vato.

What's next on the agenda? Wait and see. There's more to come... ;-)

06/20/06: Loud and chaotic, we had a great time at the Black Dog Tavern on Saturday. We thank Backseat Forward for the use of their PA and appreciate everyone who braved the bad weather for the show! :-)

06/14/06: There has been a schedule change made for the Flying Saucer gig. We will go on at 4:00pm instead of 7:00pm.

06/09/06: You can catch us at the Black Dog Tavern next Saturday. The show will probably start around 10:00pm, but swing by a little earlier to get nice and buzzed... :-)

06/02/06: It's confirmed. We'll be appearing at the Flying Saucer as part of Fort Worth Weekly's Music Awards on Sunday, June 25 at 7:00pm.

05/24/06: We've uploaded some pics from our show last Saturday. We appreciate everyone who came out and shaked their groove thang during the set! :-)

We're still working on our album. It's been in the mixing stage since we recorded our songs back on April 2. Hopefully the end is nigh... :-) You can listen to a couple of rough tracks on our Myspace site.

05/18/06: We'll be appearing at the ninth annual Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards Sunday, June 25 in Sundance Square.

05/12/06: Thanks to everyone who came out this past Wednesday. We realized it was short notice, so if you were not able to make it out, that's okay :-) . Hope to see y'all May 20 at the Wreck Room!

05/09/06: The web service that provides our mailing list has been down for about a week, thus we have been unable to send anyone who is on our mailing list any emails. If you would like to contact the band, our email is info@thefellowamericans.com .

05/04/06: We'll be at the Aardvark this Wednesday, along with Todd Mankin & El Guapo and Wake, Paradise. Show starts at 9:00pm.

Tune in from 9:00pm to 1:00am Sunday, May 14 to "The Good Show" on KTCU 88.7 FM. We'll be on the air, chin-wagging and playing our material. End your weekend with us! :-)

04/28/06: Make sure to come down to the Wreck Room May 20 and check us out along with Mermaid Purse.

04/17/06: T-shirts are now available for purchase in our "Merchandise" section.

04/11/06: We're now accepting payments for our merchandise through PayPal. We also have t-shirts for sale and will make available for purchase in our "Merchandise" section shortly.

03/28/06: Our Wreck Room show on April 29 has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict.

03/23/06: We've been working on two singles and rehearsing for our forthcoming album in which we'll begin recording in April at BPL.

03/07/06: We'll be playing at the Wreck Room's "Ninth Anniversary Bash" April 29 with The Me-Thinks, Dixie Witch, and The Gideons.

02/23/06: We're featured in this week's Fort Worth Weekly. In the next few days we'll also have some pics from our Wreck Room show (February 10) available in our "Pics" section.

02/15/06: Hope everyone enjoyed the show last Friday! Thanks to The High School Assembly and Just Cause for being great blokes :-)

Want a cd or a lock of Matt's hair (hey, we're short on merch at the moment!)? Both are now available in the "Merchandise" section. Get them before they're gone (and, in regards to Matt's hair, forever!).

01/17/06: We appreciate everyone who came out to Competition Music last Saturday and hoped a great time was had by all :-) We had fun and even provided a few bloopers. Jeff lost his voice, Caleb was playing "Nail-A-Bandmate" with a drumstick, and I unplugged myself in the middle of a song (Hal managed to make it out of the show unscathed). We thank Scott, owner of Competition Music, for his hospitality and The High School Assembly for their support.

You'll be able to check us and The High School Assembly out again on February 10 at the Wreck Room.

Available for you to download in the "Music" section are two tracks from the You'll Get Yours single. Bon apetite!

01/07/06: Bad sound and bad vibes were the hallmarks of last night's show at Monte Carlo's. The other bands were great guys and we appreciate their kindness and warmth, but we offer no extension of gratitude to the incompetent head booking agent and the owners of Monte Carlo's. Treat the bands better and learn how to cook!

On a brighter note, we will be playing with The High School Assembly next Saturday (1/14) at Competition Music. Cover is $5 and we're providing a keg (courtesy of Jeff. Yay!). If you're planning to come, the parking and entrance is at the rear of the building off of Ben Avenue. Hope to see you there! :-)

2005

12/05/05: We'll be playing at Competition Music January 14.

11/30/05: We have two pics that were taken at the Wreck Room show posted for your viewing pleasure :-)

11/21/05: The benefit concert for Fred's has been cancelled.

11/18/05: Come out December 10 to Fred's Cafe for a benefit concert to help Fred's recover from a devastating robbery. We'll open the show at 3:00pm. More details soon...

11/14/05: The Fellow Americans will be playing at Monte Carlo's January 6. We'll keep you posted on this event...

There is a little section of the web in which Hal's long-defunct band, Invader, can now call home. You can find it in our "Other Projects" section. Long live the monolithic drum riser!

10/24/05: We thank everyone who came out this past Saturday to the Wreck Room! We had a great time playing and an equally good time watching two very talented bands, Ellus and Sunward.

Sign up on our mailing list to get the latest info on the band. That's all for now :)

10/20/05: There is an article about the band in this week's Fort Worth Weekly, so check it out. Also, you can keep track of Jeff Price's solo work in our "Other Projects" section.

10/16/05: Welcome to our new homepage. It's a work in progress right now, so please mind the mess :) We will be playing at the Wreck Room this Saturday with Sunward and Ellus. Swing by and have a blast with us this weekend!
